On November 5, 2004 FMS participated in the launch ceremony of the Pailin network for 13 villages and 3 health centers all sharing 1 VSAT uplink. Although FMS founders came for the launch ceremony, the entire network was implemented by the local deployment team from FMS's technology partner in Cambodia, Uni Young Technologies, led by CEO Phay Som (photo adjacent). The Pailin network represents the successful knowledge transfer of deploying Village Area Networks from FMS to Cambodia.
