Wireless Local Area Network (wLAN)
FMS Hub Access Points can connect to various kinds of Internet connections
(Dial-up, ISDN, DSL, Fiber/Cable, VSAT, wireless backhaul, GPRS) and
distribute that bandwidth wirelessly through Hub Antenna Kits which
can be mounted in various outdoor environments. Depending on Line-of-Sight,
topography, treeline, existing points of elevation, and RF environment,
Hub Access Points kits (VAN-HAP1/2) can provide real-time WiFi communications
for up to 15 km. radius. Hub Antenna Kits include sector and panel antenna(s)
are mounted on existing points of elevation (tall buildings, cellular
towers, hills, trees...) to enable wireless links to surrounding Repeater
Access Points (VAN-RAP2) and Fixed Access Points (VAN-FAP2) for real-time
access, and Mobile Access Points (VAN-MAP1) which provide store-and-forward
access for Fixed Access Points (VAN-FAP1) and complimentary access devices.
